Juneteenth GVL Inc., in partnership with Vernon Veteran Services, Inc. launched our inaugural celebration of Blackculture through the creation of Juneteenth GVL in 2022. Our carefully curated events and initiatives are focused on the arts, veteran welfare, higher education, and community awareness. Held in beautiful Greenville, SC-named by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the Top 10best small towns in America- this week long celebration has far exceeded all expectations.

Over the course of 2 years Juneteenth GVL has been able to:

• Host over 1,200 peopleduring the annual Juneteenth Gala
• Engage over 30,000 people during the Juneteenth festival
• Distribute $13,500 in educational scholarships
• Donate over $20,000 to local nonprofit organizations
• Fundraise $150,000 in corporate sponsorship contributions
